Every score starts with the label.

Fertility supplements make big promises, and the labels are hard to compare. One bottle hides its botanicals in a blend, another sells CoQ10 as an add-on, and a third is a prenatal marketed for conception.

Fertility Supplement Index reads the public supplement facts for each brand, scores what is on the label, and shows the math, so couples trying to conceive can compare formulas for her and for him side by side and decide for themselves.

How does Fertility Supplement Index review products?

We open each brand's product pages and supplement facts panels, and record the ingredients, forms, amounts, serving size, and price, with the date we checked them.

Every fact is marked As published, Claimed, or Directory note, so you can tell what came from the label and what is our judgment. We do not send products to a lab.

How are products scored?

Each brand gets three sub-scores from 1 to 10: cost, ingredient quality, and fertility targeting. The overall score weights them at 25%, 35%, and 40%, because fit for trying to conceive matters most. A score of 8.0 or higher is labeled Highly recommend.

Where does the health information come from?

Nutrient amounts come from the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements and the CDC. Research notes summarize Cochrane reviews and peer-reviewed meta-analyses, and every note links its sources so you can read them yourself.

How often are reviews updated?

Every review and research note shows the date it was last checked. Scores were last reviewed October 27, 2026. Prices and formulas change, so check the brand's own page before you buy.

Can a brand or reader correct a review?

Yes. Send the page and the current label or price through the contact page. A changed label, a new price, or a testing certificate we can open is what moves a score. Star ratings and testimonials do not.

Does the site give medical advice?

No. These pages are general information, not a substitute for a clinician. Talk with a doctor before starting, stopping, or combining supplements, and sooner if you have been trying for 12 months, or for 6 months at 35 or older.
