CoQ10 in the bottle or beside it

CoQ10 is an antioxidant involved in cellular energy, which is why it appears on conception formulas for both egg and sperm quality. A 2024 review of six randomized trials found a higher clinical pregnancy rate when women with diminished ovarian reserve took it before IVF or ICSI, and evidence outside that group is mixed. Brands sell it two ways: inside the main product, as Theralogix, Perelel, and Eu Natural do, or as a separate add-on, such as Bird&Be's 600 mg dose. Check which one you are ordering.

What to check before you buy

  • What to look for

See whether the dose is in the bottle you are buying or sold beside it.

  • Common mismatch

Assuming the CoQ10 dose is in the pack when the brand sells it as a separate add-on.

  • If a clinic is involved

The clinic's list wins. Take the label to the appointment so the clinician can see what is in the routine.

  • What the scores rate

Scores rate the label and the published price, not your chance of conceiving.

Brands with CoQ10 in the product or as an add-on

Each brand gets three sub-scores from 1 to 10. The overall score weights cost at 25%, ingredient quality at 35%, and fertility targeting at 40%.

Price bands compare each brand's published price with the other reviewed brands, from $ for the lowest to $$$ for the highest. Scores last reviewed October 27, 2026.

Common questions about CoQ10

What did the CoQ10 trials find?

Lin and colleagues pooled six randomized trials with 1,529 women in 2024. With CoQ10 before IVF or ICSI, the odds ratio for clinical pregnancy was 1.84, more eggs were retrieved, and fewer cycles were cancelled. The women had diminished ovarian reserve, a clinic diagnosis, and the authors asked for larger trials.

How much CoQ10 is on these labels?

Theralogix lists 250 mg of VESIsorb CoQ10 in TheraNatal OvaVite, and Bird&Be sells a 600 mg dose as an add-on. Eu Natural includes CoQ10 in both Conception for Her and Conception for Him, and Perelel includes it in the Conception Support Pack. Check each panel for the amount.

Is CoQ10 for men too?

It appears on men's formulas for sperm quality, and Eu Natural's Conception for Him includes it. A 2022 Cochrane review of antioxidants for male subfertility, a class that includes CoQ10, rated its live-birth evidence very low certainty and called the evidence inconclusive.

Which form should I look for?

Labels list CoQ10 as ubiquinone or ubiquinol, and a clear panel gives both the form and the amount. Theralogix lists its CoQ10 as VESIsorb CoQ10 on TheraNatal OvaVite.
