Labels that print every amount
A printed amount lets you compare a label with public guidance and with the doses used in studies, and add up what two products give you together. A proprietary blend lists several ingredients under one combined total, so the milligrams of each are hidden. This list is sorted by the ingredient quality sub-score, which checks whether forms and amounts are printed, so a full panel ranks above a blend. Brands with the same quality score are listed by overall score.
What to check before you buy
What to look for
If the herbs say 'blend' and hide the milligrams, treat that as a gap.
Common mismatch
Comparing doses across brands when one label hides its herbs in a blend total.
If a clinic is involved
The clinic's list wins. Take the label to the appointment so the clinician can see what is in the routine.
What the scores rate
Scores rate the label and the published price, not your chance of conceiving.

Common questions about printed amounts
What is a proprietary blend?
It is a line on the label that lists several ingredients under a single total weight. You can see which ingredients are in it, but not how many milligrams of each. Eu Natural's botanicals are listed this way, and that costs it points on ingredient quality.
Why does a printed amount help?
It lets you check a dose against guidance and research. The CDC advises 400 mcg of folate a day before trying, and inositol trials used doses measured in grams. When you take two products, printed amounts also let you add up the totals.
Which units should I look for?
Folate is listed in mcg DFE, and vitamin D in mcg, sometimes with IU beside it: 15 mcg is 600 IU. Herbs and CoQ10 are listed in mg. If a line shows only a blend total, the single amounts are missing.
Does a full label mean a better product?
It means a label you can check. The ingredient quality score rewards printed forms and amounts. It does not rate whether a formula works for fertility.
