Supplements during IUI or IVF
During IUI or IVF, the clinic sets the medication and the timing, and it should also approve anything else you take. The brands on this list publish their doses so a clinic can read them. Needed prints each prenatal dose, and Theralogix adds 250 mg of CoQ10 to its TheraNatal Core tablet in TheraNatal OvaVite and says NSF International certifies the product. Do not add antioxidants, herbs, or extra folate on top of a protocol without the clinic's approval.
What to check before you buy
What to look for
Take the label to the clinic. Do not add a second product that repeats the same nutrients.
Common mismatch
Adding herbs or antioxidants on top of a protocol without asking the clinic first.
If a clinic is involved
The clinic's list wins. Take the label to the appointment so the clinician can see what is in the routine.
What the scores rate
Scores rate the label and the published price, not your chance of conceiving.
Brands with a clinical product a clinic can review
Each brand gets three sub-scores from 1 to 10. The overall score weights cost at 25%, ingredient quality at 35%, and fertility targeting at 40%.

Common questions about supplements during IUI or IVF
Should I keep taking my supplement during IVF?
Ask the clinic. Bring the label so the team can see each dose, and follow their list over any brand's advice.
Does CoQ10 help with IVF?
A 2024 review of six randomized trials found a higher clinical pregnancy rate when women with diminished ovarian reserve took CoQ10 before IVF or ICSI. The result applies most directly to that group, and the clinic decides whether it fits your protocol.
What about the male partner?
For men, Theralogix sells ConceptionXR Reproductive Health, $66 for 90 days. A 2022 Cochrane review of antioxidants for men at fertility clinics found a possible increase in live birth but rated that evidence very low certainty, so ask the clinic before adding one.
How much do these products cost?
Needed lists its Prenatal Multivitamin at $42.99 a month, or from $34.39 on subscription. TheraNatal OvaVite from Theralogix is $124 for 13 weeks, and TheraNatal Core is $33 for 90 days. These are the brands' published prices from October 2026, and they can change.
