When trying has taken longer than expected
Months without a positive test are a reason to check two things: whether the routine covers both partners, and whether it is time to see a clinician. The brands on this list sell conception products for a couple that is still trying, from Eu Natural's formula for each partner to Theralogix's clinical preconception vitamin and Bird&Be's daily packets. None of them is a treatment for infertility. A clinician can test both partners, which no supplement can do.
What to check before you buy
What to look for
If it has been a year, or six months at age 35 or older, a clinician should be involved. Do not add a second product that repeats the same nutrients.
Common mismatch
Adding a second product that repeats the same nutrients when the next step is a visit to a clinician.
If a clinic is involved
The clinic's list wins. Take the label to the appointment so the clinician can see what is in the routine.
What the scores rate
Scores rate the label and the published price, not your chance of conceiving.

Common questions when trying is taking longer
When should we see a clinician?
See a clinician after a year of trying, or after six months at age 35 or older. Go sooner if cycles are irregular or either partner has a known health condition, and bring the labels of everything you take.
Should the male partner be checked too?
Yes. A fertility workup usually looks at both partners, and a semen analysis is a routine early test. Every brand on this list also sells a men's product, with Perelel's sold as an add-on, so both partners can keep a routine while you wait for results.
What does the research say about CoQ10 before IVF?
A 2024 review of six randomized trials found a higher clinical pregnancy rate when women with diminished ovarian reserve took CoQ10 before IVF or ICSI. Those women already had a clinic diagnosis, so the result does not carry over to every couple trying at home. Theralogix includes 250 mg of CoQ10 in TheraNatal OvaVite, and Bird&Be sells a 600 mg dose as an add-on.
Can we take two conception products at once?
Only after you add up what they share. Two conception products often repeat folate, vitamin D, or CoQ10, and the NIH upper limit for adults is 1,000 mcg a day of folic acid from supplements and fortified foods. A clinician can check the combined labels.
